The Boston Education Development Foundation f/b/o Boston Public Schools
$25,000 to support expansion of the Parent-Child Approaches to Learning Initiative, increasing the number of classes offered to engage families and build parenting skills, and pilot additional class offerings on new topics.

Care Dimensions
$50,000 for the organization’s Complementary Therapies Program, providing non-invasive, holistic care to nurture the body, mind, and spirit of patients and family members, and provide bereavement programs and services as needed.

Center on the Developing Child, Harvard University
$10,000 in support for community-based programs developed by the Center on the Developing Child.

Children’s Home Society of Washington
$50,000 for the development of a new intervention, a two-generation approach to help families achieve long-term goals, based on the structure of the Mobility Mentoring program.

$30,000 in support of free, peer-based grief support for four families in Arlington through structured support groups, events, and referrals.

The Children’s Trust, Inc.
$35,000 for family education programs, including Parenting Education and Support Programs, Nurturing Fathers groups, and the Father and Family Network.

Community Partnership Family Resource Center
$20,000 for parent education programs to strengthen families and promote healthy parent-child relationships.

Courageous Parents Network
$32,600 to support parents of children facing life-threatening illnesses and pediatricians in training who care for these families, and to promote communication between parents of seriously ill children and pediatricians through videos and an interactive guide.

Crossroads
$25,000 in support of the “Grow-Build-Lead” long-term empowerment program to empower youth to think independently, make informed and healthy choices, set challenging goals, and engage in service to others.

EMPath
$150,000 for expansion of the organization’s Intergenerational Mobility Project, a program involving parents and children designed to improve low-income child and family outcomes.

Epiphany School, Inc.
$39,000 to support of new programs led by the Parenting Journey (a current grantee) at the school.

Families First Parenting Program
$45,000 in support of the growth of the organization’s Power of Parenting Program curriculum and partnerships, serving over 300 parents, training 20 parent leaders, and running 20 programs in partnership with community organizations.

Family & Children’s Service of Greater Lynn
$20,000 for ongoing parenting education and family support programs, including outreach to new communities and individuals, strengthening partnerships with nonprofit agencies, and developing support specific to the experience of immigrant mothers.

Family Nurturing Center of Massachusetts, Inc.
$50,000 to support community-based Family Support Networks serving 850 families with young children in Boston neighborhoods, including expanded bilingual offerings in Roslindale/Hyde Park.

The Fatherhood Project c/o Massachusetts General Hospital
$25,000 in support of the Becoming a Dad program, to launch education and intervention plans to help men become engaged in the prenatal and postnatal processes.

Fathers’ Uplift, Inc.
$50,000 in support of its ongoing outpatient mental health programming focused on supporting fathers in overcoming financial, addiction, emotional, traumatic and other barriers preventing them from remaining engaged in their children’s lives.

Friends of the Children, Boston
$25,000 in support of long-term, professional mentoring for Boston’s highest-risk children and youth.

The Institute for Healthcare Improvement, Conversation Project, Inc.
$50,000 in support for the Conversation Project and its citywide public media campaign in Boston to encourage family discussions regarding end-of-life preferences for aging family members .

Julie’s Family Learning Program
$35,000 in support of adult and children’s services, including family support and education programs committed to the development of strong, stable, healthy family functioning.

Parent Possible
$10,000 to incorporate parent empowerment resources into public spaces including libraries, recreation centers, and parks, to foster positive interaction between parents and young children to support the child’s healthy development.

Parenting Journey
$40,000 in support of Parenting Journey Groups designed to create resilient families by supporting over 300 parents in developing life skills and networks of resources, with an additional $30,000 in support of Parenting Journey programming specifically targeted for The Epiphany School.

Pathways for Children, Inc.
$30,000 in support of the Family Enrichment Program, to provide outreach and comprehensive wraparound services to over 200 children and parents in the North Shore community.

Philanthropy Massachusetts, Inc.
Trauma and Resilience Fund of the GMA Funder Community

$30,000 toward a funder learning collaborative on adolescent trauma, which distributed grants to for organizations working in the field: College Bound Dorchester, Fathers’UpLift, Massachusetts Advocates for Children, and Silver Lining Mentoring.

Raw Art Works
$25,000 for the organization’s Family Focused Creative Youth Development program, which provides free arts programming for 585 underserved youth and paid job programs for 40 youth.

Roca, Inc.
$25,000 in support of the High-Risk Young Mothers Program, which provides intensive case management, parenting education, life skills, alternative education, and workforce development for young mothers in Greater Boston and Springfield.

Room to Grow
$25,000 in support parent education programs to 750 families, including structured coaching, material goods, community connections, and other parenting tools and resources.
